Family Solutions has an FTE 1.0 (40 hours/week) employment opportunity available in our Grants Pass Day Treatment facility. The individual filling this role must be a self-starter, team oriented, energetic, and passionate about working with youth ages 3-14 years old.


Start date: 2021 - 2022 School Year


Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $43,691.00 - $73,197.00 per year

Responsible for the development, planning, preparation and delivery of academic activities in the classroom.

Responsible for scheduling, maintaining and developing IEP’S or PEP’S on all students in the program.

Responsible for all record keeping in regard to academic activities on all students.

Establish and maintain appropriate/therapeutic relationships with adolescents in the group home.

Maintain high ethical standards with regard to treatment and confidentiality.

Participate in the formulation of social, emotional and behavioral goals and in quarterly reviews of those goals.

Meet, as needed, with treatment staff and education staff for planning, training, and other purposes related to adolescents treatment and education.

Establish/maintain open communication with on-line staff, therapist, supervisor and program manager; work cooperatively as a team member.

Maintain a working relationship with SOESD and keep up to date with documentation they require

Communicate pertinent information to Residential Home Supervisor/Case Manager and Residential Program Manager as necessary.

Demonstrate skills in non-violent crisis intervention and physical restraint.

Observe all policies and procedures.

Assume additional responsibilities as assigned by the DTX Supervisor.


Per the Governor of Oregon Family Solutions does require COVID-19 vaccination for employment or an approved medical or religious accommodation. 


TSPC license in special education required. The successful applicant must be able to navigate writing IEP's and all of the processes around special education.


General education license in addition to special education license is preferred, but not required. Experience working with severe behavioral problems preferred. This position will provide oversight to educational assistants.


An applicant moving forward in the hiring process must clear a background check, Medicaid fraud check, have a valid driver's license, a minimum of 4 years of driving experience and have a clean driving record.
